Six months of strategy and design work culminates this month as the trial of a new wayfinding and customer engagement signage strategy is implemented at 4-6 Bligh Street, Sydney CBD.
Best Group were engaged in late 2011 to overhaul the signage style guide for NSW’s ‘State Property Authority with key objectives to lower implementation and management costs, ensuring it was easier for customers to engage with public services, and improve tenancy relationships for the property management government agency.
Our strategy focused on the ‘customer’ and simplifying information at particular points of their journey. A digital wayfinding system for tenant directories has been developed in conjunction with a digital signage partner. The content for all properties will be managed from one single point via a custom designed management software system specifically designed for this project.
It is envisaged that the new look signage and wayfinding strategy will be implemented across up to 6,500 sites within the next 5-7 years as the agency takes management control of more government owned property assets in NSW.
